U不良研究所 establishes AI resources and best practices

New website offers guidance for use in teaching, learning, research and work

As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to rapidly evolve, the University of 不良研究所 is taking the necessary steps to ensure students, faculty and staff have clear guidance on how to safely and effectively utilize this emerging technology. 

This semester, U不良研究所鈥檚 new allows the campus community to find helpful resources and information on all things AI. The website will continually be updated, depending on emerging trends and recommendations from subject-matter experts, to meet the needs of the community.  

鈥淲e know our university community is interested in learning more about using AI and using it as a tool with day-to-day tasks and learning,鈥 says Trevor Poffenroth, chief information officer with U不良研究所 . 鈥淭herefore, the need for AI resources and best practices is becoming more important.鈥

U不良研究所 isn鈥檛 alone. Universities across Canada are continuing to adapt to advances in AI. With these ongoing changes, it is important to inform the campus on using AI responsibly. 

鈥淎s the AI landscape changes, so will our guidance," says Poffenroth. 鈥淭his is an evolving space, and our goal is to ensure that our community has the resources it needs to navigate it. 

鈥淲e鈥檙e actively developing best practices for AI use at U不良研究所, and that work is ongoing. As new tools and challenges emerge, we鈥檒l continue updating our guidance, so our community knows what to expect and how to use AI mindfully.鈥
