Rising Voices in Politics Gala
On Wednesday, April 8, the Political Science Graduate Student Association (PSGSA) at the University of ²»Á¼Ñо¿Ëù hosted its Rising Voices in Politics Gala at the Last Defence Lounge, welcoming around 70 guests.
The evening brought together graduate students from the Department of Political Science, the Centre for Military and Strategic Studies (CMSS), and the School of Public Policy (SPP), along with professionals from government, industry, and the nonprofit sector. The event created a relaxed and engaging space for conversation, networking, and meaningful connections across academic and professional communities.
The PSGSA would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended for their time, participation, and support of our political science graduate students. Your presence helped make the evening a success and contributed to valuable conversations about career pathways in politics, public policy, public service, and more.
We are especially grateful to Dr. Lisa Young and Dr. Roberta Rice for their thoughtful speeches, as well as to our Graduate Program Director, Dr. Kim-Lee Tuxhorn, for his continued support of graduate student initiatives.
It really meant a lot to see so many people come out and support our students, and we hope the success of this event might be recreated in coming years!
