Fahimeh Mehrabi, a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology, has received a Committing Sociology Certificate in recognition of her dedicated service as Editorial Assistant for The Canadian Review of Sociology. Since summer 2025, she has contributed to the journal鈥檚 editorial process by organizing reviews with the Student Advisory Board, screening submissions for journal requirements, managing manuscript workflows, corresponding with reviewers, and preparing initial copyedited versions of accepted manuscripts. Fahimeh also played an instrumental role in the transition to Wiley鈥檚 new online submission system, helping the journal navigate both technical and organizational challenges. Her dedication, leadership, and mentorship have been recognized through this honour. More information is available .
