Alumna recognized for teaching excellence at Mount Royal University
Liza Choi recognized by Mount Royal Faculty Association
Liza Choi, BN鈥94 and MN鈥04 was recently named the 2019 recipient of the Mount Royal Faculty Association Teaching Excellence award at Mount Royal University.
She is currently an associate professor with the School of Nursing and Midwifery. As a passionate educator, she believes that 鈥渓earning is a transformational process where teachers bring learners from a state of unknowing to knowing.鈥
Choi stresses that teachers who exude idealized influence are individuals who act as a role model for others and motivated by a commitment to the common good.
